Heidy Grave Barrera

Receptionist

Heidy grew up and was raised in Guatemala, where her cultural heritage remains an important part of her identity. She is trilingual in Spanish, English, and K’iche, a Mayan language that deeply connects her to her roots and culture.

Moving to the United States became one of the most meaningful turning points in her life. The journey was not easy, but through every challenge, Heidy saw God’s guidance and purpose unfolding. She believes this experience prepared her for the path she walks today. After graduating with honors and excellence from New Bedford High School in 2022, she began her professional journey in 2023 at the Law Office of Ondine. There, she discovered how powerful it can be to support people during moments that can change their lives.

As an immigrant herself, Heidy understands what it feels like to be far from home, navigating uncertainty while holding onto hope. Every client she meets reminds her of her own story—the fears, the courage, and the dreams that come with starting over. Because of this, she approaches each person with patience, empathy, and genuine care, always striving to make them feel welcomed, heard, and supported.
