An Attorney with Deep Roots in Immigration Law
Ms. Sniffin focuses her practice exclusively on immigration law. Over the course of more than two decades, she has represented many individuals and families in a wide range of immigration matters, including cases before the Boston Immigration Court. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics, Economics, and Society from the State University of New York at Old Westbury in 1992. During her junior year, she studied abroad at the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom, an experience that strengthened her understanding of global perspectives and cross cultural issues.
In 1997, Ms. Sniffin received her Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law. In her final year of law school, she served as a student attorney, representing clients before the Boston Immigration Court. That early courtroom experience, combined with her academic training, set the course for a career devoted to immigration law and to the needs of foreign born individuals and families in Massachusetts and beyond.
She was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1998 and to the New York Bar in the same year. In addition, she is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and the Massachusetts Federal District Court. These admissions allow her to assist clients in immigration matters that intersect with federal court proceedings when appropriate.
